Bird, our "Gearhead at Large" has been active in the racing community for over 30 years.  His main interest is Gassers, but he is into all types of drag racing.  Don't talk to him about NASCAR he won't give you the time of day.  His love of classic hotrods has cost him many hours and a lot of money pursuing his interests.  His current project is a 66 Chevy Pickup Gasser - "Red Light Nightmare".   You'll be seeing him ON the track instead of near it very soon. 

He is also an avid motorcyclist (for you motorcyclists), a long time biker to those who know him.  His classic Triumph has won too many awards to count, and has been featured in "Iron Horse" magazine.  He is a genius with a wrench, and when he puts that wrench to a brit bike it's nothing short of magic.  His talent doesn't end with wrenching, he also paints both bikes and cars, as well as custom metal polishing. 

Even with all of this he still makes time to go to the races and talk with the drivers and spectators about his love of the sport.
