Lechler Strikes for His First, While Spring Continues to Reign Supreme!
Butch Lechler got his first win of the year in the TSR Box class at Pacemakers Dragway this past weekend. Butch was dead-on all weekend, not to mention his car. Lechler cut down the tree three times in a row, with .504 lights in three consecutive rounds. Butch beat the point’s leader in the semi-finals, putting a near perfect run together. Lechler then beat Michael Thomas, driving a 79 Ford Fairmont, when Lechler’s ‘67 Camaro went .504, one over his Dial-In.
Brett Spring took home the crown for a second time this season in TSR Racing Products No-Box Class. Spring was a threat all day on the tree and his car was humming to the tune of a 7.52 to 7.54 dial-in all day long. Brett was near perfect in the semi-finals where he went .502 and was dead-on his 7.53 dial-in with a two, putting him a close .004 seconds away from perfect. Brett got the job done in the finals running a close .01 over his dial-in.
Do not forget to come out to Pacemakers Dragway this weekend for our Budweiser Points Series. Spectators can sit on the hill for FREE!!! Feel free to visit our website www.pacemakersdragway.com
