Home Gearhead Car Shows Waynes Homes Car Show
|
First off I would like to apologize for not having an article about last week's show in Heath. Sometimes computers can be a pain, as can camera batteries, sorry. As I walked across route 37 to the car show I spied a very familiar car to me. Yes, it was "Mighty Mouse" (as I like to call it) belonging to life-long friend and fellow gearhead Rex Wright. The car is great! Rex and I talked a bit about each other's projects and then it was time to take some pics of the awesome cars. One of the things I like about the car shows in this area are the well thought out themes. The owner's attention to detail without going over the top. Some of the cars look like they were bought yesterday and the modified ones look like cars on the street in the 60's and 70's, possibly cruising by the old Frisch's on Granville Street, where every weekend was a moving car show of sorts. What you don't see at these area shows are trailers, these cars get driven, so a big wrenches up to the guys and gals and their cars at the Waynes Homes Car Show!! Don't forget that we have free classifieds, so you can buy sell and trade all of your cars and parts! See ya next time, Your Gearhead at Large PS Help! My Gasser needs a Howards roller cam and lifters for a blown small block chevy 550 to 610 lift and the I-beam axle from a 65 to 70 chevy van, spring perches to steering box. Would prefer 69 to 70 5-lug disc brake version, but earlier drum brake will work. Email me if you have any of these please.
