Nosey and Rosie came to the Licking County Humane Society, back in April, at the young age of 14 weeks. The two little girls were not “happy campers” when they arrived, and they were a bit aggressive toward humans.Since then, they have learned to trust people through the loving care of staff and after-hours TLC volunteers.
Nosey loves to play “hide and seek,” making a tunnel of her towel or newspaper from which to pounce when you walk by!She loves to hear the staff say, “Oh! You scared me!”Rosie loves to claim a soft toy as her own, carrying it around in her mouth to guard it.Watching these two girls interact together tugs at the heart strings, and we would love for them to find a “forever” home together.
Both Nosey and Rosie have been spayed, and are current with all of their shots. If you would consider adopting either or both of these little girls, please visit them at our shelter located at, 548 Dog Leg Road, behind the county animal shelter, in Heath.Should you choose to adopt both Nosey and Rosie together, the second little girl would be half the adoption cost.
There are many other cats, kittens, and dogs at the Licking County Humane Society needing good homes. If you can’t adopt, perhaps you would consider fostering or sponsoring one of the shelter animals. For information contact LCHS at 740 323-2100 after 12 noon or 1pm on Sunday. The shelter is closed on Wednesday.
