This past weekend we went to NTR for the National Street Car Association World Finals. Man it was great. Most of the cars were from the 50's, 60's, and 70's with the Big 3 (GM, Ford, and Mopar) represented very well indeed. There were 427 Thunderbolts and Galaxies and mustangs. Chevy II's, Camaros, 409 Biscaynes, 'Vettes and Chevelles, a really cool Jade green and gold 55 Chevy and many Pontiacs too! And Mopar.....think of any stock or super stock body and engine combo and it was there. I walked around the pits taking photos of cars and talked with owners and drivers. I picked up a great set of slicks for the gasser..cheap! There was only one thing that got me a little pi*#ed off. The lack of spectators! Because let's face it they need our support to help this event grow. All in all it was a very well run and fun event to go to, and I look forward to attending this event next year. so keep the rear tires a smokin'! Bird....your Gearhead at Large
